I m definitely keeping this one around for awhile on my reference shelf There s enjoyable ancedotes of the authors ove for fashion but it s tied to an understanding of the development of fashion history in the Twentieth and 21st century While many fashion blogs are fun to read these gals have the depth of knowledge gained through ove and repeated wearings that connects the dots A fun read I am embarrassed to admit that I read this book but I will do so for everyone s benefit As much as I No Way Home loved Melissa dea Cruz s Chic Happens column on Hintmagcom this is basically a book about how to be a fashion victim and really do we even need one This self help book had great info but nothing I haven t read before and better It s been a while since I read this book It was an impulse purchase while I was shopping at Target Pretty good for the fashionista set I suppose which I m really not I Sequins and Spurs like to shop and buy cute shoes clothes but I m aittle too DK Adventures low maintenance to be a fashionista As I remember there were some tips scattered through out the book on how to recycle certain items such as t shirts to make them high fashion i read just 20 pages couldn t bare any DO NOT READ It s basically 2 British women judging the figures style choices weight eating habits shoes skin etc of other English women in a very rude way Plus you can tell their tips are for them or people whoook In The Name of God like them In.
