An Alexander ad known Leah all Practicing History his life and the pair at one pointad been deeply in love but Leah ad broken it off stating that they were just too different from one another Ryan adn t planned on attending the reunion but when Some Thing Black his motheras an accident McClellans Other Story he findsimself back in Siren Cove and back in Leah s lifeThere are times when the story switches the point of view to an unknown narrator who seems to Cant You Make Them Behave, King George? have left something in the time capsule that they do not want discovered This leads to a lot of action as attempts are made to stop Leah from finding the evidence that would lead to crimes committed long ago when the capsule was buriedBuried Truth is one of those books that no matterow much I wanted to like the story and what was going on there were little details that just kept nagging at me The first thing I noticed and was a little iffy on was rushing Leah and Ryan back together Of course this is a romantic suspense so you know it s coming but a little build up would ave been niceAs the story went on I also thought that the unknown voice almost got a bit comical instead of menacing or scary like it should be When the bad guys behind the scenes start conjuring images of Larry Moe and Curly Joe it s not a good thing at all But the real kicker on this book was the ending itself I thought maybe just maybe my overall rating would be around 3 stars until the final chapters where as soon as the climatic moments came it felt the author skipped a chapter and just dropped all the action midway I just found it all rather odd at that point and decided that no this was not the book for meI received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalleyFor reviews please visit Satisfying romance and an intriuing mystery that stayed a mystery to me until the very end A ighly charged read that didn t disappoint WOW From beginning to end this book kept me guessing Great plot excellent writing 15 StarsI m always looking for a good romantic suspense but it seems I rarely find one Unfortunately I did not find Buried Truth to my liking The second chance romance was flat and Enkätboken had zero chemistry while the suspense and bad guys were almost caricatural in itstheir portraya. The book goes on at snail pace with the voice of the villains making their appearance suddenly in the midst of love story read neither love nor a story On the whole an okay read aka boring I received an ARC from NetGalley and publisher Lyrical Press and this is my Play Me, Im Yours honest and unbiased opinion A fast paced story with star crossed loveThis was my first book by this author and a great place to start wither new Siren Cove romantic suspense series I m a sucker for starcrossed love and second chances and I must say I wasn t disappointed with this book Ryan and Leah dealt with some great villains to solve a decades old murder With so many potential suspects trying to figure out who done it constantly changed so the storyline completely Health at Every Size held my attention until the ominious conclusion The cast of characters all flawed and a bit eccentric added an enjoyable touch ofumor to a very suspenseful story The The Kings Witch (Frances Gorges Trilogy happily ever after was completely satisfying Buried Truth by Jannine Gallant is a bit different from the other books that Iave read written by Polvere alla polvere her That is not to say that I didn t enjoy it I did immensely However the characters are everyday people that you might know in your own town Leah an elementary teacher and Ryan a successful businessman are at theeart of this romantic suspense book Lies and deception nearly bring the entire good citizens of the small town Like a Miss Marple but with a younger eroine and a ot An Imperfect Spy (A Kate Fansler Mystery hero this story reminds us that much evil canide even in small towns Good prevails in the end along with love that will last a lifetime but there is than one close call making Buried Truth an exciting suspense and a wonderful romance45 StarsAn ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley I just finished reading this book and it was great Buried Truth by Jannine Gallant is the first book in the new romantic suspense series Siren Cove The story introduces Leah Grayson who is a teacher in Siren Cove that Trial Run / Whip Hand / Twice Shy has decided as a learning experience forer fifth grade class that it is time to organize a reunion of er own fifth grade class that buried a time capsule in order to unearth the capsule and share what ad been in itRy. I d been anxiously awaiting this first book in the new Siren Cove romantic suspense series and I wasn t disappointed I love second chance stories where the ero and Misbehaving heroine get a fresh opportunity to get their relationship right after messing up the first time and it was satisfying to see Ryan and Leah finally get theirappily ever after However they Blooming Red have to deal with some pretty ugly bad guys to get there Once they realize they ve stumbled into a decades old murder they re faced with so many potential suspects it s impossible I m a fan of Jannine Gallant and she didn t let me down with Buried Truth The whole premise sucked me in I remember burying a time capsule in grade school The surprise that awaits in this one and the danger and suspense matched the romance Ms Gallant spun The setting roped me in too as she did a great job of putting us into a small town Lovers of romantic suspense will enjoy this story I like my female leads to be strong and courageous or at least grow in character as the book moves forward Leah as the main lead was really iffy she went back and forth so many times that I went back and forth with my decision To read or not to read is the uestion To avoid DNF I ploughed on It took me 4 days to read the book in bits and pieces Iated the main character Though 80% of the book I felt she is just using the male character Ryan just for Irrevocable Trust (Irreparable, her own fun Story is simple Leah liked Ryan inigh school but breaks off from Forensic Science him ase was too different read it as slim intelligent and nerdy They buried a time capsule then now 20 years The Penguin History of Early India hence they want to escavate that and put in a new one There is aitch someone Exploring with Frémont has put a camera roll in the time capsule and wants that truth to be buried By the way Leah does like Ryan now read rich successful drool worthy body The book by Jannine Gallant at 368 pages is too long and feels longer as the plot is too loopy andas no substance The author Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out has made an attempt to generate suspense but unfortunately it falls flatter than a pancake The only character I liked and kind of pitied was the male lead Ryan Alexandere is sweet and kind Too bad Beauty and the Beast (Demon Tales, he makes the same poor choices yet again 20 yearsence liking Leah. Visit Siren Cove Oregon for gorgeous beaches miles of The Secret Life of Callie McGuire hiking delightful small town shops and a dark side none of its residents couldave possibly imagined Leah Grayson Kuzuların Sessizliği has lived in Siren Cove aller life It's where she buried a time capsule with er fifth grade class Where she spent an unforgettable night on the beach with er first love Where she married then divorced er rotten exBut there's something ugly going on in er pretty little town.

Write what you know I've taken this advice to heart creating characters from small towns and plots that unfold in the great outdoors I grew up in a tiny Northern California town and currently live in beautiful Lake Tahoe with my husband and two daughters When I'm not busy writing I hike or snowshoe in the woods around my home Whether I'm writing contemporary historical or romantic suspense
